Recording for new ep finished

We’ve been putting our quarantine time to good use. We have finished recording the tracks for our second ep. Now we’re on to editing and mixing.

We can’t wait for you to hear the new material and to be back performing. In the meantime here’s a video of Tim recording his last solo for the ep.

Stay safe and wear a mask!

Injury Break and New Drummer

We have been taking some time off as Tim has been recovering from a torn tendon in his left index finger and has had his finger in a splint for the last few months. It is pretty well healed at this point and the recovery process has started, but he will still need a while to regain full use of the finger. We’re hopeful that he will be back to full health in the next month and we will resume work on our second EP at that time.

We are also looking for a new drummer as Kurtis has become too busy to commit to Little Known Alien full time after opening his new music shop, Muse Music. We wish him the best in his new endeavor!

If you are interested in auditioning send us an email or facebook message.

New EP

We’re working on our second EP and have recorded all of the drums and cello tracks. Violin will be recorded soon. Here’s a preview of Adrenaline:

Ralph’s/OdiePalooza This Week

We are looking forward to two shows this weekend. Up first is our return to Ralph’s Rock Diner in Worcester with Elsewhere and Solar VVitch. Then on Sunday, we take the stage a OdiePalooza 3 at Buttonwood Park in New Bedford, MA. This will be a fun-filled day, with a food truck festival, about a dozen bands, and other vendors on site. We go on a 12:30pm, but there are bands and activities until 7pm, and we’ll be hanging out all day! The event raises funds for Odie’s Place, a no-kill animal rescue in Southeast Massachusetts.

9th Annual All Star Jam

We had a great time performing at the 9th Annual All Star Jam at Hyannis Green back on July 15th. We helped raise $248 for the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported a great cause.

Our friends from CDSD Photography were there taking pictures of the event, and there are some great shots from our set on our photos page.

June Update

We had a great time at Patterson Creations earlier this month. The highlight of the night was Steelface Circus. You’ve got to check these guys out! 9 and 13 years old, and they crushed it! Here’s a clip from one of their first shows:

And coming up on June 28, you can catch us live as we return to Ralph’s Rock Diner in Worcester, MA with War Twins, Reservoirs, and Miranda. See you there!

Little Known Alien at Patterson Creations Tomorrow!

Marathon Monday (Solid Ground music video)

Here in Massachusetts, it’s Patriots Day, also known around here as Marathon Monday. Patriots Day is a state holiday, and is the running of the Boston Marathon.

This year is the five year anniversary of the tragic bombing near the finish line of the marathon. Last year, Adam was asked to appear in the music video for Rebecca Correia’s song, Solid Ground with Rebecca and blues guitarist Keb Mo’. The video features marathon bombing survivor Adrianne Haslet, and Rebecca is donating 50% of all proceeds from downloads of the song to the Limbs for Life Foundation.

See the video below, and consider making a donation to Limbs for Life. And good luck to all the marathoners running today!
